How Many to accompany a Patient

Vibha accompanied her sister for a doctor’s visit with prior appointment. When they visited the hospital, she saw many people were waiting at the Reception and she couldn’t find a chair for her sister to sit. They thought that, need to wait for a long time to meet the doctor!!!

When the doctor arrived she saw that, one patient accompanied by 5 to 6 people were trying to enter into the consultation room. Doctor requested only one person should accompany the patient. Later when patient came out, Others rushed to the consultation room to know the status of the patient’s Health. Doctor politely told them to discuss this with person who had accompanied the patient.

Dear Friends, Doctor’s time is very precious. Do remember these points whenever you visit the doctor next time!!!!

  1. Patient should be accompanied by only one or two people who are aware of his health condition.
  2. Carry the patient’s medical records like Prescription, Lab Reports and Other important documents.
  3. Make a list of Questions need to be asked when you meet a doctor.
  4. Allow the doctor to examine the patient and to view the reports. Later ask the questions regarding the patient’s health condition.
  5. Listen to the Doctor’s Instructions Carefully regarding medication and follow the same.
  6. Wait Outside, if the doctor is examining the other patients.

Don’t Remind the past

Tarun and Kala are siblings and have lost their parents when they were very young and  brought up by their maternal Grand parents. Today  they are leading a decent and well settled Life.

Tarun avoids attending any family functions or gatherings because relatives  will talk about his deceased  parents and try to show sympathy towards him,  which annoys Tarun and therefore he will avoid going to any family function.

Friends even you may have relatives or Friends who might have lost their parents or siblings.  whenever you meet them don’t talk about the unfortunate Incident happened in their life. Instead talk to them about their present life.

Happy Time

Remember Your Ladder

Lalitha has 3 siblings 2 bothers and one sister.   During her marriage  elder brother has not helped financially  nor attended the marriage due to some family issues.  Her Younger brother arranged the money and helped the parents during her marriage.  Today all her siblings are married and have their family to take care.

On her Father ‘s 80th Birthday all the siblings came together and organized a function to celebrate his birthday.  Now Preference and Priority was  given to her Elder brother  who has not helped  parents or sisters during their needy time in the function. Younger brother who had helped them like a Ladder during difficult time was given Least Priority and  importance in the function.

Remember contribution and help taken during your needy time.    Please give them Preference and Priority all the time.

Happy Relationship

Follow Your Passion

Subhash’s parents are doctors and wanted  their son also to be a doctor.  Due to the parental pressure Subhash studied Medicine.  Today Subhash is not into Medical Profession!!!! he is working as Business Analyst in the Health Care Domain Software company.

Siri’s parents are working  in the IT Industry, wanted their daughter to be a Software Engineer, but Siri was interested in Fashion Designing. Parents Enrolled  her for the Engineering Course. After few days  she left the college.   After a year her parents allowed her to join the Fashion Designing course and today Siri is a very successful Fashion designer and runs her own Boutique.

Dear Parents to avoid the above situations please remember these points

Value Your Customer

Vijaya runs a consultancy  which provides  training  on  IT skills to Individual and Corporate Clients.  On the Occasion of 5th Anniversary of the Consultancy, she decided to buy a gift item to be given to vendors and colleagues.  She posted her requirements online.  For this she got good response from the vendors. Vendors were looking for the good business what they  will get from the customer’s order rather than understanding the customer’s requirement!!!!.

When Vijaya told that she is looking for gift items with reasonable price and wanted to only 100 nos. vendors were not keen to take her order and was not responded to her request properly.

Dear Vendors, one can run and sustain in the business for long time only  by valuing the Customer and Clients. When  a customer approaches you with a request

Do’s

  1. Listen to the Customer.
  2. Understand their Requirements
  3. Help them by giving right suggestions.
  4. Allow the Customer to make a final decision.
  5. Always Value the Customer irrespective of Volume of the Business.

Don’ts

  1. Never Ignore Your Customer.

Value your Customer to Grow and Sustain in the Business for Long Time
